MPF is a standalone DC power supply for SHDSL/SHDSL.bis ASMi-54C modules installed in the Megaplex-4 chassis that deliver phantom power feeding to remote SHDSL/SHDSL.bis repeaters or modems.
Coupling remote power feeding with extended range using RAD’s repeater provides a comprehensive solution for
migration to Next Generation networks.
MPF provides the DC power for up to 80 active ASMi-52/54 modems or repeaters operating in 2- or 4-wire mode.
The device has two output connectors to fit a Megaplex-4100/4104 unit equipped with two PS modules.
MPF is a standalone unit, intended for installation on shelves or in 19-inch racks. The unit height is 1U.
The device also includes a power sense mechanism, alarms relays, fans and LED indicators.
The device is cooled by forced air cooling.
